The service, atmosphere, quality of meats and wines are all professionally presented. A clubby and stylish setting.

A surprise for my partners birthday, never had we been so looked after at a restaurant - the service was spectacular. Also the owner walks around, asking how you're enjoying your meal and if you're being looked after. Beautiful decor, stepping back into 1920's London, with a jazz bar the floor above you. Perfect evening if you don't mind splashing... More

We arrive just in time for lunch. The place was full but not crowded. Spacious. The steak was great. The burger was juicy and really yummy. The cakes was a perfect ending for the great meal. The service was fantastic.

First time here with a friend who had been before. Tables are well spread apart, with booths as well, and high ceiling. We treated ourselves to a split caeser and salumi plate. Both great although the salumi kind of needs some bread and olive oil to go with. Then we had a porterhouse ordered medium with 2 sides. The steak... More

This steakhouse is in a great location in Columbus circle. The service, food and ambiance are all above average but not memorable. We started with the caviar service with buckwheat blinis that were too thick, chewy and were too distracting to eat with the caviar. The steak and sides were good but not great. We will go back to Quality... More

Everything was flawless in this sleek Time Warner Center spot. We shared a Porterhouse for 2 which was every bit as good as Peter Luger's best. We weren't prepared for quite so grand a performance. Service was outstanding, drinks served up just right and everything choreographed to perfection. Our sommelier picked a perfect selection making dinner truly memorable, while not... More

My husband is a meat lover, and we have tried every good steak house in NY. This is by far the most beautiful place, the best food, and overall, the best experience of all. We went there this past week without a reservation. We had to wait 15 or 20 minutes, and we got one of the best tables in... More

A favorite. Remarkably high standards of everything including cocktails, wine (expensive), oysters (unbelievably fresh all year), fish (in a steak restaurant? Yes.), meat, vegetables (catch the creamed corn in the summer); desserts. Lots of space. Go.

The prime porterhouse that we had was impossible to eat as it has the stench of a dead cow. Lobster was way too buttery.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
