Came here for a party! The service was great! And the chefs menu is fantastic! Would recommend the bacon and figs, garlic shrimps and sangria!

A friend and I went for lunch. Our server Melissa was that rare NYC specimen: a server who truly enjoys her work. After a round of banter, we liked her immediately and told her to choose six tapas for us. She asked a few questions about our likes/dislikes/allergies, etc., and off she went. The home runs were the pulpo (octopus... More

We went here late in the evening after flying in, there was no wait on a Monday night for two people. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the different types of Sangria and several tapas. Our favorites were the croquettes and the chorizo and quail egg. Every thing we ate was great and really affordable.

Tried several "authentic" tapas restaurants in NYC and on LI and found this gem thanks to my son-in-law. The food is so expertly prepared and served. Several tapas selections started us off served with crusty bread slices, excellent cheeses/meats, a touch of fruit and tasty olives in a wonderful sauce. We went on to enjoy Pimientos de Padron, Pintxos Morunos,... More

Best bottomless sangria...white, red and blood orange!!! How can you argue with that! Brunch for $39, pick 4 tapas, pick 2 mains and two types of churros, chocolate covered being classic. Great ambiance!

This is one of our favorite restaurants after a week spent in Manhattan. Everything was perfect from the food, to the ambience and service. Each tapa was carefully constructed and flavorful. Wine recommendations were "right-on", and interactions with waitstaff were delightful. If we lived here, we would probably eat here a lot!!!!!!

Had Boqueria cater our work office-warming party. All of the food was delicious! In particular, there was a breaded ball filled with mushroom with a truffle flavor that was amazing.

My partner and I arrived at around half past 9 on a Sunday and luckily they had a table and sat us straight away. It wasn't too busy and it had a lovely atmosphere. Some of the tables are a little close together but I quite liked it, it felt very cosy. The staff were very friendly and were always... More

You would never know that this is a restaurant with 3 locations in Manhattan. Wonderful, authentic Spanish tapas! Brunch on the weekends is my favorite. Tortilla Espanola (eggs, potato and onion pie) comes with 2 slices of Pan con Tomate (bread with a tomato spread!) and a small salad. The Gambas Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) are also delicious. But save room... More

What a fantastic tapas place. The food and atmosphere are simply fantastic. A must stop whenever I'm in NYC. Too bad it's so busy all the time.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
