Had the burrito bowl. Healthy option. It's a burrito without the tortilla served over salad. Quick delivery. Shakes are also good

I was REALLLLLY hungry! I wanted Mexican. The reviews looked ok, and I was near, and the menu -well- lots of choices. I got a cactus tortas which came with sweet potato fries and a bottle of water (the special - grande, i think it was called). Couldn't wait! Well, my guess is that they took frozen fries and microwaved... More

Al Horno is a good option if you live in the area and want to take in/out Mexican food but don't want the extremely heavy, fattening feel that usually accompanies the cuisine. They offer lots of variety when it comes to making your traditional favorites healthier (quinoa, brown rice, low-fat sauces, etc.), and delivery is fast.

This is my favorite place to get burritos in NYC. It's definitely not authentic Mexican or anything (or even authentic Tex-Mex), but the food is great. Good quality ingredients and delicious combinations. A little expensive, but the portions are large.

I got the chicken fajita plate. They thought I wanted it to go, which I didn't but they do a lot of to go and delivery orders. It was packaged very well. There was enough chicken for two people - easily. It was cooked well and was tasty as were the onions and peppers with it. The rice and beans... More

Wow. I'm addicted to the Fiesta Grande salad! Everything else is very good as well. I've only had delivery so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. If you love Mexican food but not the expanding waistline effect - this place is for you!!!

Food pretty good but ridiculously expensive for what you get. Asked for a side of chips. They were served in a tiny plastic container. Maybe 1/2 cups worth FOR $3. Little to no value at $36 for two. Delete review

We ordered from this place yesterday evening. We had a "make your own" tofu burrito with quinoa and a quesadilla. Both were excellent, in fact the burrito it one of the best I have ever had. However, the cheese had a really strong taste, which I didn't like that much. Great food anyway.

For those of you that workout and still want to eat meals that are healthy, but taste like a treat, go to Al Horno. They serve brown rice & quinoa, mashed pintos instead of refried, fresh lean meats and veggies. You get a ton of food without the guilt. It's a little out of the way, but well worth it.
