The appetizers are delicious! We had tuna belly that was on top of cucumbers! Then there was really salty anchovies (I do not like any anchovies but these were pretty good)! Then we had a steak tartare that was spicy but it was really tasty!...More

Why does The Grill make me want to return to that old bad habit of my youth? Part of it definitely comes from the fact that every element of this place has been designed to transport you back to a time before we had “good...More

This is an upscale and serious place for corporate executives to meet and greet and to conduct business in an elegant and refined setting. No misbehavior tolerated so corporate types are on their best behavior even if also on the company tab!

We had to have lunch one more time at this venerable restaurant before it goes dark next year. Every aspect is superb, incapable of improvement. The owners preside over the dining room, making sure everything is splendid for their guests. Quality like this is truly...More

Two of NYC's legendary dining rooms, exceptional design (classically timeless elegance) and great service, with tables nicely spaced rather than cramming people in to use ever last square inch. It all adds up to a great experience rarely rivaled.
