Earlier this week we had lunch at Guantanamera and I can report that everything--the food, the ambience, the service--was just as good as on our previous visits, so just take a look at my previous reviews of earlier visits because there really is nothing I...More

What an awesome restaurant with an interesting menu, both Cuban-inspired and Spanish-inspired! The restaurant is quite large, which is deceiving from the outside and although there are no outside tables, besides the 15+ inside tables, you can also sit at the bar for a cocktail...More

We were greeted warmly and immediately shown to our table. The service was friendly, the food was delicious and pricing, considering its NYC, was quite fair. The only negative was the sound level, again its NYC.

Very good oxtails, great music, personable and professional owner, and awesome wait staff. The restaurant is small but comfortable.

I don't remember eating at any place in Cuba that offered Paella; but, I certainly appreciate having it available at Guantanamera in New York's Hell's Kitchen area. It was full of wonderfully fresh shellfish-squid, mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops and lobster. I was completely satisfied with...More

The staff is very accommodating (my wife special orders everything). They have some great salad choices, plus a multitude of veggies, rices, beans, etc., so they are probably better able to please your palate than... More
