We tried a number of dishes for a recent brunch, and were underwhelmed. The best by far was the country ham. The buns were ok, the rice cakes and sausages were too spicy and gloopy. Not worth going out of your way to visit -...More

A perfect venue for a great brunch. We did the country ham flights as well as the Bao. Do try the American Sturgeon Roe Bao. It was amazing beyond the perfection that exists with the Pork Belly Bao.

We hadn't been to NYC in two or three years, so we were looking forward to having a great dinner of pork belly buns, and spicy sausage and rice cakes. However, when I looked at the menu online, neither were to be found. After a...More

Went to this restaurant for the first time. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The dining space was a little tight for a large party of 14. The drinks were delicious and food was fantastic.

I'd like to go back weigh a larger group to try different foods like the bossam. From what we did try at lunch the kimchi fried rice and beef were excellent. Make sure you eat it like a ssam - use the lettuce as a...More

This was our first visit to a Momofuku restaurant, and it definitely lived up to the reputation. We had the brunch menu on a Saturday so it wasn't quite the full menu, but still very good. We were with friends who don't drink alcohol, so...More

While David Chang’s cooking has influenced our palate for over a decade, we still were naive enough to believe that his restaurants still had his mojo. How disappointing it was to dine at the Saam bar last night. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. Portion...More

You definitely need a reservation if you want to come here. The starters were delicious but portions small. We had like 4 different starters and all were delicious. The highlight for us was our special order of duck. It was expensive but worth every penny.

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
