The entrance to this restaurant/ bar is kinda hidden, so you might not see it right away and walk by it. The food is delicious! The Rolled Cheese Omelet is so tasty! Their dishes are for the Korean crowd - so if it says spicy on the menu = it's really spicy!! So be aware. Love the Army stew -... More

This place represents all the eccentricities of what we think about Korea. Dark setting but good atmosphere and service that is attentive. Mostly Koreans there and the menu to others will be a little daunting. I had the fish stew covered in mozzarella and it was bizarre, yet delicious. Other nice touches to the meal and good beer on tap.... More

Friends and I stopped here for drinks and dinner and sat in the bar area. Each of us had a different specialty cocktail, and they were all spectacular. The hot fries, chicken wings, and fish cake were also very good.

My mum, sister and me went here to have a meal. We walked down the steps into a bar, were a young man welcomed us. We asked for a table and he walked us throught to the back and gave us a table. The place is dark, not much lighting, but clean and plain. We ordered, spicy chicken wing and... More

This bar is hidden in koreatown. It looks unassuming until we are inside. The place was packed at 10 pm when we were there. We had some cheese buldak and soju. Cheese buldak is a spicy chicken dish with melted cheese. The portion is enough for 2-3 ppl sharing. I was told that it is not quite like the one... More

Bangia -- the name is a representation of the Korean phrase "Half-Underground," and that's just what it is. Walking down the few steps into the entrance, I found myself in a small bar with an engaging barman. As I sipped some draft and enjoyed half-and-half wings (half spicy, half fried) with a side of pckled radish cubes, a steady stream... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
