Stopped in for oysters and wine before dinner down the street. The shrimp cocktail was amazing, the biggest shrimps ever. Excellent oysters and service.

Delicious Lobster roll and blueberry creme brule. We had to come back the next evening. Good location, friendly staff and fast service.

Lovely food. We came at lunch time and I must admit the service wasn't that great. The waitress made fun of us in public, because we didn't know have to fix the lobster, as this was our first. The food was great but the service.....

Visiting NYC I wanted to see what the Lobster roll trend was like. My friends took me to Ed's today and I LOVED the experience. It is a small place which on a Sunday at 2pm was not too crazy. There is a long bar area with seats where you can get great service and eat and drink as you... More

My wife and I make it a point to visit Ed's any time we go to New York. The food is great and the service is outstanding. The Lobster Rolls are a little pricey, but some of the best we have ever had. The raw bar has a great variety of shellfish and is super fresh.

Sat at bar to eat - food was really great. Surroundings a wee bit grungy. My husband liked this place more than me.

My wife and I came in at about 3.00pm on a Thursday and most tables were occupied but there was plenty of room at the bar, enough room for our stroller with a sleeping baby! We came across Ed's from the great reviews on Yelp and had to try the 'lobster roll' that is so widely praised! It did not... More

Whilst on holiday in NYC my husband and I decided to visit Eds. We sat at the bar and ordered the fried pickles followed by two whole lobsters, one grilled one broiled- both delicious! Great service, friendly staff and lovely place. We will definitely visit again next time we are in NYC.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
