We love Morrocan food, so since we got to a theatre a couple of blocks from here this looked ideal. Pretty quiet on a Tuesday night, but very good food and nice people.. We had the lamb tagging and chicken bistiya and some Hariri soup....More

What a wonderful spot for dinner or drinks - with the dark library and vibrant sounds of conversation all around. Definitely a very New York kind of vibe. The food was incredible in every selection we ordered, and the wine list was thorough. Service was...More

We were in NYC for the weekend and stopped by this restaurant and sat outside. We had $4 Sangrias and the $10 hamburgers. The service was good, but the food was great. Would highly recommend for happy hour.

Found this spot on the Michelin guide, very glad we were able to dine at short notice. The appetizers were definitely the highlight. We ordered the charcuterie (for one - the menu suggests that it is charged per person but you can order a single...More

This is a great little restaurant on 2nd Avenue's restaurant row. Good selection of meat dishes and the vegetarian falafel sandwich is very good. Full bar, good service and both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

My bestie and I went last year and I forgot to post review. Food, superb! Service, even better! Went through a groupon she purchased. We got so much for the amount of money it cost. The service was so good and the food was so...More

The good food, lovely decor and excellent MUSIC will transport you to North Africa: Casablanca in the East Village. Though, I think the owners are Algerian. When I asked after a particularly wonderful piece of music the waiter said it was Algerian. The food is...More

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
