I stopped in before hopping a train to a dinner with family. They have many options including some good microbrews. Very convenient.

Location is very close to the 9/11 Memorial. Cool shops, restaurants and bars. The Beer Table is a sweet little bar tucked in a corner. Had a few glasses of wine and a Cheese Board. Yummy.

Convenient Grand central terminal location. Popular with those like me who pass through or live near. A good variety of bottles and cans as well as a few local brews on the tap. Get yourself a refillable jar or small bottles and keep coming back. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Beers are on the pricey side, yes.. but they... More

This is a neat place. They have a lot of beers that we have not seen elsewhere. It is great to grab a couple singles to go and they also have taps for growlers and 16 oz beers. It is a little pricey so you may have to pay up.

Not a bar... but a place to find a great selection of interesting and hard to to find beer. They also have a number of taps pouring an ever changing variety of craft beers. Bring your growler or pint jar...or buy theirs. If you love beer and are getting on the train...fill your jar with great beet at a fair... More

Thought I'd have a beer at this recommended place on our way to the Oyster Bar in the Station. A roaring, bellowing mob of what seemed to be office workers milled around the outside under big umbrellas and awnings. They were having a whale of a time, but unless you like drinking beer in a rugby scrum in which everyone... More

My husband loved the Beer Table. They serve beer in Mason jars so you can take them with you. My husband brews his own beer, so he knows and understands beer. He thought the beers on tap here were excellent.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
