This quickly became my favourite place to stop for a coffee and sandwich or croissant on a recent trip to New York. As a vegetarian I enjoyed the variety of sandwiches and flatbread pizzas available without meat! Fantastic coffee, perfect way to start the day!

Excellent bakery right next to the 72nd street subway. I especially enjoy their different kind of flatbreads - especially the cauliflower and zucchini ones. Perfect place to pick up a light meal or snack.

the location in Tribecca is friendly and they bend over backwards...upper west side they were snotty and did not seem to care whether i liked them or not. Also downtown seemed bigger. However, the macaroons are superior. And the price for tea is so low and so good...

Illy is the best coffee you can get and you can get it here. I went to the one in Tribeca on West Broadway. I took a pizza Funghi slice with it which was to die for. I love that they didn't use cheese, so it tastes more fresh to me and it makes it a lighter option, plus you... More

Visited the Grandaisy Bakery 3-4 times whilst staying on the Upper West Side recently - the bread, croissants and cappuccino were amazing! Very friendly staff, great little place.

We went to the branch of this bakery located at 250 West Broadway, New York, frequently while we were in NYC. Many mornings we would get a baquette of some sort along with a sweet (almond cake, walnut banana loaf, macaroon, shortbread cookie, etc.) to enjoy with our coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. There wasn't an item that we... More

The pizza is awesome. Came here with a bunch of friends and we ordered a bunch of slices to go. They serve it up just like in Rome, where you indicate a size you want off a huge rectangular piece, they cut it, weigh it and wrap it up to go for you. It's priced based on weight. We tried... More

Not impressed with the bread - looks great but not that tasty. And the prices are astronomical - NYC is the place for bread for sure - but i wont be back to Grandaisy anytime soon.
