It was a wet horrible day and we needed lunch so stumbled in here just taking a chance. Lovely warm welcome, great drinks, really nice food (the omelettes especially). We went everyday for drinks and food during our stay in NYC.

Pretty good food. Nothing special but it was good. Typical pub food and atmosphere. When we went there was no wait. It was a quick bite to eat before a show.

Atmosphere was an A+. Service and food C+ at best. Monte Cristo was NOT a Monte Cristo. Just a ham and turkey sandwich. Average one at that. BLT was not a all good. Disappointed.

So, you are looking for an Irish bar in New York City? This place is very close to the real deal. It's the combination of the drinks, food (which is more American than Irish), the decor and this abstract, yet real, thing which is the...More
