A little disappointed, came for lunch. Sat in back room at a table for two and very very close to other tables. It is a big place, maybe they are trying to maximize number of people in one space- for me it was uncomfortable. The food was ok, I was expecting a little more since I was told that it... More

The good news is that my adult guest and I had a great dinner at Ilili. The restaurant is beautiful and stylish. It was a bit noisy and bustling, tables are close, but the chairs are comfortable and we could talk easily. It's clearly a popular spot, with a large lounge. The thyme salad was different than the norm...and fresh... More

It's so nice to visit a place like NYC and have a local show you the ropes. We got a great line on ilili from a friend. The place is cool! The service attentive. The food divine. We started with our favorites, hummus, baba ganoush (perfect, on the brink of being burned but not!), grape leaves, the cheese rolls (more... More

The food is good, I'll grant you that. Well maybe not "good" per se, but certainly edible. Definitely not great, and even if it was, that would not justify the simply terrible service. I liked the mezzes. I've had better in outer-borough falafel joints. But that was not the problem. The problem was that after the snooty waiter took our... More

By far one of the best restaurants in NYC! Do not miss the Brussels sprouts, the falafel, hummus and the best dish is the duck shawarma!!! Out of the menu is the baklava, amazing dessert. The service is fantastic, ambiance beautiful!! One of our best experiences in new york!!

Right up front, this will NOT be our last visit. In the city for a show. The wife and I wanted something different. We stopped in for the brunch menu. As is our want, neither got anything the same and together we try all the dishes we order. While in the military I spent time in the Mediterranean (Europe, Middle... More

Ilili is authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. It is definitely one of my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; the ingredients, fresh and exquisitely prepared. My favorite main dish, semolina gnocchi, is soft and elegant. Paired with the yogurt sauce, pine nuts and orange zest, it is phenomenal. The hommus, baba ghannouj, and warak enab are also delicious. The... More

We arrived on a Tuesday evening without a reservation and had to wait a short while for a table, despite the fact that the restaurant has two large dining areas. It's popularity is well deserved. Two of us shared a selection of five meze dishes and each was delicious as was the accompanying bread. The duck shawarma was probably my... More

My hubby and I ordered the Mixed Grill it was so delicious and the meat tender. The grilled to perfection seasonal veggies perfect. Waiter suggested their signature Brussels sprouts yum to die for! Coming back again before leaving the big Apple.
