I always eat here, and would eat here more often if it is not too pricy. The gindara is just... The best. Soft, perfect amount of salty and sweetness, The oxtail fried rice is worth every pennny. the portion is really big so you can share it with others.

To get 5 stars is impossible with me. This place is really close to 5. The sushi is about as good as you can get. Temperature is the difference in flavor and texture. These people nail the temperature. They also are about as close as you can get to Sushi. This means they do not doctor up the Sushi with... More

The place was very busy on a Tuesday lunchtime, luckily we had booked ahead. The décor was authentic and felt very Japanese. The 4 of us tried a sushi/sashimi platter, the fried chicken, oxtail fried rice (x2), the black cod and the squid. The highlight easily was the oxtail fried rice, this was absolutely delicious! The rest of the food... More

I was in NY once more for a business trip. I have been recommended to go to Blue Ribbon Sushi (in Soho) by several colleagues and friends. And I am very happy I tried it! It is literally the best sushi I have ever had! I was there alone and the place makes it possible that you don't feel weird... More

We lived in Hudson Hotel and were searching the best sushi and maki bar nearby and the one we found we can really recommend because real high quality of the food served. Service very okay. Ambience looks nice but incredible noisy, too loud.

Stop by with a friend after a show on a Thursday night. The restaurant is in the Hotel 6, near Columbus Circle. At first it appears very small, as all you can see from the door is a bar and a few booths in what appears to be a very narrow room. Walking thru the room proves it to a... More

Went to the rooftop bar for a drink. It was very quiet, but the bartender was quite pleasant. When walking out, noticed the sushi restaurant that had a hopping bat at 10:45 PM. They serve sushi until 2:00 AM. The sushi was excellent and the bartender was fun and nice.

We came in for a late-night snack around 11 PM on a Sunday night. The restaurant was slowing down after a hectic evening it seemed like, and the ambiance was relaxed and nice. We ordered different maki rolls and found them to be.. just average. One of the rolls tasted way too much "fishy". For the price we paid, I... More

First visited the restaurant in Vegas and was quickly hooked. This is one of my favorite places to eat. Love the fried chicken and yellow tail. But, the oxtail fried rice is my absolute favorite. Unexpected at a sushi restaurant but absolutely delicious. Will be back again and again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
