Hearty brunch with a southern flair. The brisket hash, bacon and biscuits are worth a return visit soon!

Be sure you know what you want to drink as you take off your coat, before you sit down! Waitress was in a big hurry at 9:30pm and not knowledgeable of the drink list. The lobster hush puppies were greasy and overly salty. My daughter liked her burger. The rib eaters- one from Finland enjoyed them and one from Texas,... More

We walked from the Piers on the lower west side after doing The Beast boat ride. We had already had a recommendation from friends who said Southern Hospitality was a great place for ribs and shrimp. The service was quick, attentive and slick. Amazingly tasty food and a fun, buzzy atmosphere, all our kids loved it.

I came with my friend on evening of Thursday 11/16 at 10 pm and we ordered food and a bottle of wine. At around 10:30 pm when we were not even half way through with our wine and food, the manager(!) brought us check and asked us to pay for it!!! After that the waitress came to check if we... More

Went for supper here one evening with my wife. We found the food average at best - it wasn't bad but was nothing to write home about either - very average - I would say very "safe" if ur not looking for anything different. It was busy so we had higher expectations but visiting NYC I'm looking for better food... More

Relaxing atmosphere, attentive service. Literally 2 mins from entrance to a perfect martini sitting in front of me. Delicious southern style food. Fried chicken, jambalaya, prime rib, the corn fritter appetizers is my favorite. The servers are experienced and knowledgeable. Fast service for home cooked food.

Went here for brunch, many great options. Second time here. Can get very busy if you arrive for a later lunch. For $15 you can add the bottomless mimosas. This time they had 3 guys playing guitars and banjos while singing. Not that they were bad but where we were sitting it was too loud to even talk to each... More

I have eaten at some great barbecue places, typically you can order a combo plate, 1/2 rack + pulled pork + brisket, these guys sell ribs individually, baby back, $4.00 ea and spare ribs $6.00 ea, sides are all extra. Our baby backs were dried out as was the brisket. I would recommend if you are looking for bbq and... More

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY is an authentic Memphis-Style BBQ restaurant and bar. We boast some of the finest southern food found this side of the Mason Dixon Line. We feature traditional specialties including Dry Rubbed BBQ Ribs, Sweet and Sticky Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Southern Fried Chicken, Fried Pickles, and Mac & Cheese that you'll never forget. Our Southern fare is complimented by juicy corn fed Steaks, grilled jumbo Gulf Shrimp with Rosemary Grits, and lighter fare like our Watercress and Praline Salad, and Grilled Salmon with Black Eyed Peas. In addition to our fine cuisine, we offer a full line of draft beers, an extensive list of sipping tequilas, and over 50 of the Country's finest Bourbons. World renown wine expert, Gary Vaynerchuk, has hand selected an eclectic wine list that pairs beautifully with our diverse menu.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
