Even in cold winter days people flock to this well known sweet paradise of excellent ice cream. Exotic and rare flavors are found here and the quality is excellent.Be prepared to make a long queue in the summer months well worth the experience. Creamy and not overly sweet ice cream in mouth watering flavor but I suggest you to try... More

Went with some friends and we all loved it. Some indoor seating would be nice, but based on the quaintness and great ice cream make this place a can't-miss.

For an old famous establishment , the outlet looks small and when we went in there was no one else- so we were not too sure whether we landed in the correct place. However the ice creams on offer confirmed that we reached the original China town ice cream factory. They have some unusual flavors - we tried Black sesame... More

The place has a pretty good reputation for Chinese ice cream, but after trying it, I think I'll stick with my American ice cream shops. It was different- has a taffy like consistency, difficult yo scoop with the plastic spoon they give you. At $4.65 for a small cup, it's definitely overpriced and over-rated.

Ice cream is good, but nothing to die for, do not expect Italian standard here. More than solid quality - like in every traditional local ice cream parlor (the ones not defrosted and frozen again) and I think, "fresher" than franchised Ben&Jerry's and Haagen Dazs. Unusual flavors are lovely addition to spice this sweet story :) Two scopes (size of... More

Ice cream was great but the space is too small. Would go back for sure. I choose almond cookie ice cream and wanted more.

A tiny ice cream place in China town with loads of weird and wonderful flavours. Often a short line and it's essentially a take-away, but worth it for the unusual flavours like lychee sorbet. Seem to remember it was cash only. Best to decide quickly to avoid holding up the line!

This is a very small establishment, but it makes up for it with a large selection of freshly made ice creams. There are normal flavors, for those that prefer a traditional ice cream. For those that are willing, they have some unique flavors to try, lychee is my favorite.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
