Went with a group of 8 to see our friend play at a Dexter Gordon tribute. Beautiful place with windows across the back wall behind the band. Relaxed atmosphere and prices not too bad considering it's in Columbus Circle. About $100/person including cover ($40) 3 bottles of wine and other drinks and entrees for everyone. I had jambalaya, which was... More

Dizzy's is great for an evening of Jazz at Lincoln Center. The venue has table seating and serves a variety of drinks and meals. Behind the performers is a wall of glass looking out to Manhattan

Located inside the mall at Columbus Circle, this is an upscale Jazz venue. You will take the elevator up to the venue; best are the elevators across from Hugo Boss. Seating is at tables, the bar and a long high shelf along the back wall. Suggest you make reservations just to be sure you can get in. This is a... More

Dizzy's has all the sensibility of a small jazz club in a nightclub theatre environment. The programming uniquely defines it's place in jazz entertainment and education. Columbus Circle is uniquely situated in central NYC.

This place was recommended to us by friends back in England so we just had to hunt it down. We were staying on West 58th street just off Columbus circle so we were pleasantly suprised to find it just a short stroll from our hotel. The venue reeked of class and sophistication as we made our way in. After a... More

Dizzy's is a small, intimate venue. It serves dinner, drinks and dessert. There is a cover charge. Location of the club is good, in the Time Warner building. Lots to do in the area. Lots of restaurants if you do not want to eat in the club. Entertainment varies, so you have to check the calendar to see who is... More

I went to dizzy's for the late night jazz and it was amazing! The view was absolutely stunning and the band was incredible. We did the late night show which did not require reservations but it was pretty packed. Drinks were good. Don't bother with the coat check. Over all a great experience

This place is located in the Time Warner shopping mall, there are box office windows but if you have booked on line & are arriving at showtime just take a lift up to Dizzy's Club & you will be met there. It is not necessary to dine in the club, you can just have drinks. We opted for the 4... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
