I was excited about coming here since I am from Argentina and I have been living away for 4 years. I was craving some good food! This restaurant did not disappoint. The menu was interesting, the wine variety was awesome. Lots of Argentinean wines I haven't seen in a while. I had the matambre con ensalada Rusa and it was... More

We recently visited NYC and had researched Argentina steakhouse restaurants before leaving the UK. This restaurant came very highly recommended and even though it's away from the main tourist area we decided to go there for lunch.......the effort of traveling out of the way was definitely worth it. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was cosy yet not... More

Small and cosy restaurant serving steaks and Argentinian food. Great atmosphere and good service. The steaks we ordered were delicious. Look out for the photo taken with the Pope during his visit.

I was introduced to this place by an Argentinian friend (of course!), and I just love the homely atmosphere, the excellent steaks and the very personal service here. I keep coming back again and again. Don't expect the fanfare of a New York steakhouse, but that is exactly what makes this place so wonderful.

order the Entrania Special , 32 OZ Skirt steak to enjoy and remember. If you are a big beef eater you will agree with me. The area is not so popular but the restaurant is. So, book in advance.

Very cosy place where they serve the best Argentinian steaks. Very juicy and perfectly made steaks, everyone should try this place. Greetings from Belgium.

This restaurant is very, very legitimate. I lived in Argentina for two years and this felt like I was right back home. Pricier than others in the area, but you pay for the experience and the true Argentine feel. Great wine selection as well.

Good place for carnivore. I like the stuffed bell pepper with tuna and the sweet onion that they offered as a tapas. I ordered a soup and a skirt steak 10 o.z . The soup is not okay, and the skirt steak was cooked to medium. Even is 10 o.z but the portion is just right for me. And I... More

Having a trip planned to Argentina just 2 months later, we decided to try this place in Manhattan and it was very well worth it! Visit was in October 2013. First of all, our waiter was from South America and you could tell they employ people that can relate to the place and its origins. My gf being salvadorian, socializing... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
