Meal was amazing. Had the skirt steak, literally melted in my mouth. The wine list is incredible! Had one of the best Malbecs of my life. Definitely on the expensive side but the food and atmosphere is worth it! Super cozy restaurant with just a great feel to it and the staff was great.

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW

If you want to try an authentic argentinian restaurant in New York, you have to come here! I've been there for lunch with my parents. The place smells delicious, the food taste amazing and the ambiance is perfect, we fell like we were in Argentina! The service and the food were excellent! We had some appetizers (handcut meat empanadas and... More

We had a very nice Christmas dinner. We visited this restaurant several years ago with a big group, and both times everything was very well. Staff was great, and steaks were amazing. This place usually has Wine Specials, and never have we been recommended a wine that wasn't good. Great experience. The only thing I didn't like is the proximity... More

Beef is outstanding. Great Service. Nice sangria. Portions are quite reasonable. Terrace is very cozy to spend time with your date.

We searched for Argentinian food and found this place. Great ratings but after eating here we were so pleased. The ambience is perfect. It is a quaint and very comfortable place. The homemade sangria is Ah-mazing!!! The skirt steak, their specialty is tender and perfectly cooked. Wish we had more time for a 2nd visit.

This was a great and lively restaurant that I think could easily be overlooked if you do not frequent the East Village. Please come out and eat here. The food was so good to me, I forgot to take pictures of the food (sorry, not sorry). The dining experience was made better as the wait staff asked me every so... More

We ordered "Ojo de Bife" and "Tira de Asado" and both were delicious. The meat was melting in my mouth and on top of that you add a couple of glasses of Malbec. Great experience at a mid-range price (33$ to 38$ per main dish)

I was excited about coming here since I am from Argentina and I have been living away for 4 years. I was craving some good food! This restaurant did not disappoint. The menu was interesting, the wine variety was awesome. Lots of Argentinean wines I haven't seen in a while. I had the matambre con ensalada Rusa and it was... More

We recently visited NYC and had researched Argentina steakhouse restaurants before leaving the UK. This restaurant came very highly recommended and even though it's away from the main tourist area we decided to go there for lunch.......the effort of traveling out of the way was definitely worth it. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was cosy yet not... More

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
