A nice, novelty café. Not English style as they like to believe but I love the Alice in Wonderland theme! The Wonderland Waffles were AMAZING as was their scones. The tea selection is huge so something for everyone's taste. It is a little pricey but I thought it was worth it. It's small so either make a reservation the day... More

Had a lovely tea and cake in this quaint, camp little shop, Alice's Tea Cup Chapter II. The range of teas and cakes was plentiful, the service was good and the set-up was very eccentric. On the one hand it is quintessentially niche and over-the-top, it isn't cheap, but if this is your thing and you fancy treating yourself then... More

I went with my daughter for a breakfast tea. The tea and scones were delicious. It is quaint inside. It is a bit pricey for why you get.

Yes. yes. Just go.Yes! Here with a friend for a birthday breakfast, we were immediately impressed by the fun decor (easy location from several trains, too). Our Waiter (jason? ) was delightful! Our tea choices sooooo many (I got Alice's special blend- good! my friend got a chai - good!) The Pots of Tea were BIG! We had two scones... More

My 15 year old tea lover finds a tea shop in every town. This weekend we stumbled across Alice's Tea Cup. She spent over an hour wishing she was young enough for the pixie dust treatment.

I took a friend to the Mad Hatter Breakfast at Alice's and it was so nice. The decor at this location is cozy with a low key aura; a welcome change from so many other places. Everything was perfect; including the service and food. The scones were great (especially the cranberry/orange) and the tea selection was wonderful. Not cheap but... More

We ordered the Mad Hatter Breakfast served on a three tier. I got Moroccan mint and my wife got the unbirthday tea. Do not ever tell anyone that I ate the granola and yogurt, but it was delicious. I accidentally ate all of it. Service was as wonderful as usual.

Dionne is the best server, we ever had. She smiles, constantly, she is quick, efficient, professional and friendly. The setting is quaint and tea from a China tea cup is the only way to drink tea. Pumpkin scones, chicken soup, eggs Benedict in fact anything on the menu is delicious and not too expensive.

Thank Rachael R

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
