Returned today for the Shrimp plate. For around $20, you get a pound of boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn, and bread for 2! You can't beat the taste or deal. Add a cup of gumbo to share and it goes over the top! I love this place.

Cajun seafood done well, I had some really fresh gulf oysters and a shrimp gumbo, although not authentic was very tasty. Service was attentive and friendly, highly recommended.

Have eaten here since the late 80's.... pretty much the same menu. Solid on consistency but they do need to "freshen up" the place with a renovation. The shrimp PoBoy grilled is my favorite. Can't go wrong with peel em and eat em shrimp by the # either. Always fast service. Always nice. Shrimp etoufee is also very good too!!

Went here for my birthday dinner, to try something different. Ordered the cold crab legs. That was a mistake, they were such poor quality I was afraid to consume much of them. Our waiter seemed to disappear half way through our meal, to be replaced by another. Waited 20 minutes to be asked if I wanted(needed) another drink...by then we... More

Specials everyday, but Saturday is great. One pound of shrimp, potatoes, and corn for two. Ice cold beer to boot! Good shrimp gumbo too.

Fresh, fresh, oysters and super hush puppies. Fried oysters and peel and eat shrimp very good too. Have not had the fish but we see a lot of happy catfish diners around us each visit. Very friendly service.

I've been eating here since the mid-80's and the food is still the same, great! The fried shrimp are some of the best I've had, and all the sides are awesome. The raw oysters are sweet and fresh, and very good for this part of the country. We've never had a bad meal here, and is so fresh, you have... More

I really like this restaurant. They have an AMAZING shrimp, potatoes, and corn platter. It's a good place to go with family or friends. It tends to get a little loud, but it adds to the atmosphere.

Place is a neighborhood dive. Food was good but definitely not much seasoning or salt. And the fact that we picked the dirtiest booth in the place didn't help either. The bottom of the table cloth was grimy and there was dried splashed soda all over the wall.

Was in downtown LR, looking for seafood. My search offered close by options, but this one was in the also recommended. Read reviews and thought, I must go. Was a few minutes out of downtown, but worth it. Friday during Lent but they still managed a short wait and good service. Oysters fresh, hush puppies crisp, Shrimp lightly breaded. All... More
