For a late afternoon meal the parking lot was nearly full (Saturday). The receptionist worked to get us suitable lodging for a wheelchair so that we would not have to fight other tables. The food was very good. Did get cheese enchiladas instead of my ordered chicken! Server admitted that they punched in the wrong choice but took care of... More

Music, and Mole! Out for errands i am struck that my daughter wants to eat Mexican ( she was raised in France)! So seeing my chance pulled into Julio's. Guacamole was good, soup not too salty...it's still winter though...and she ordered fish. She ate it.. but my favorite there is the Corona Special. I love mole.. the chicken was moist,... More

Good stop for long car ride. This is my cousin's fave restaurant...She stops here every time she drives through El Paso. Authentic Mexican food.

The food is quite ordinary. The ambiance is very pleasant with a separate bar. Good enchilada sauce, Mexican rice with little peas (fairly good), mashed beans--the same over the years. Many other more traditional dishes with fish and beef. My server Mike was smiling and pleasant--no rush to get me my drink, which crashed into my meal rather than been... More

I went with my co-workers to lunch here twice in October. The food is very palatable, and is actually Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Even the lunch portions are large, and the service is as fast as you would like it. I have worked in different parts of Mexico and this food is genuine.

I have over 1 million miles on motorcycles and have ridden through El Paso a dozen times. I always stop at Julio's for an authentic Mexican food fix. The Margaritas are super, the servers are excellent and the ambiance is perfect...
