My husband and I shared a combination plate and everything was delicious. Great service and friendly staff to top it all off. You may think the restaurant looks crowded from the outside but it is bigger than it appears and we were seated quickly.

The restaurant is busy because it's so popular. It's popular because the food is so good. Their menu has pretty standard Mexican food items: burritos, tacos, etc. I ordered the combination plate, which included the typical items: taco, enchilada, tamale. The difference with the combination plate was the quality.

This place is always busy, but it is well worth the wait. Never had anything that wasn't great. Especially love the enchiladas and the chile rellenos.

Our hotel suggested this restaurant and took us there in their shuttle. It is across from an old cemetery. No curb appeal. The locals were lined up inside and outside. The 30 min. wait was worth it! Their chili relleno was especially good! Not so sure about the Margarita. Too much mix! Highly recommend if you want authentic Mexican cuisine!

Waited an hour to get in but so worth it. Food was amazing. We had a large group and every person in the group enjoyed their food.

We were looking for great Mexican food and this place did not disappoint! We are both Texans so we know good Mexican food. My husband ordered the enchilada plate, on a recommendation from our waiter. These were THE BEST enchiladas we have ever had. I ordered the caldillo (like a stew) and it was amazing. The service was great even... More

Such a super busy place evenings, weekends. Can hardly get near the place. Very popular in El Paso. Historical, next to the old cemetery!

Visited with my son and his wife on a Thursday night. Luckily, we came early because this place is busy all the time. The restaurant has been around for nearly 70 years and shows it a little. The staff, though, are super friendly and eager to please. Finally, the food. It is authentic, very tasty, and plentiful. We all had... More

I have been to this place several times. Not unusual to sit with some of El Paso top officials. Not sure if it is still in the menu but my last visit they had ground beef with cheese and rajas (cactus strips). It is so good and plentiful. It is a crazy thing, but one of few places you can... More
