Good place. Nice wines for a reasonable price. We had pizza and salad which were very good. Just a charming little place with friendly staff.

We go for lunch after seeing a movie downtown. Or just when we wnat Italian. Out of town vendors at home show turned us on to it. We know all the waitresses now and always great food.

I like the unique Pizza at Capriccio's. It is a small restaurant with both inside and sidewalk eating. I would recommend that you go and talk to the owner. He is a nice guy. The food is fresh and a fun place to eat. It is not good for large groups.

What a nice selection of menu items, all in the $15 +/- range. The most expensive item is $18 for a multi-seafood dish. Nice light sauces on the pastas, and many pizza options ($12 Angelina = Gorgonzola, carmalized onion, roasted tomato, proscuitto, with a balsamic drizzle). There are also many different types of pasta, not the standard three you find... More

I really enjoyed this restaurant from start to finish. Three different dishes, all very good. We asked for wine, and were very happy with the sangiovesse. I would tweak the place a little. When I order an $8 glass of wine, it can come in a stemmed glas, not a juice glass. Really tacky to serve it that way. Also,... More

I am a Philly-based Italian-American whose bias has always been that East Coast Italian food is the best. This visit stood that idea on its head for me. Their fish over creamed corn risotto was delicious. My aunt's pasta was a perfectly cooked al dente. Their desserts- cheesecake, flan and gelato were terrific. Next time we go out to visit... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant when we stayed recently in Ventura. The food selection was outstanding. I had the seafood stew, cioppino, and it was so fresh with mussels, salmon, shrimp, and other seafood in a rich tomato broth. Wine selection was also excellent.

For many years my wife & I used to dine at a restaurant in Ventura called BJs. The owner some time back sold that restaurant & opened an Italian restaurant on Main Street called "Capriccio". This Sept we were visiting Southern California & had the opportunity to visit owner Noel's restaurant Capriccio. Noel is by birth a Frenchman so why... More

Seemed like the local's italian restaurant. I had red snapper and a glass of sangria. My husband had fettuccine bolognese. Everything was very good. The tiramisu was light and fluffy which was a nice surprise. It went well with the heavy italian food. Service was excellent.
