One Sunday, I'd just been up hiking around at chiricahua, and decided to stop someplace in Willcox for lunch. I took a stroll through the old business district which - on a Sunday - looks more like a ghost town. Fortunately I noticed a guy sitting at a sidewalk table, and was walking over to ask if he knew of... More

Girl at the hotel recommended 2 places, neither of which are open on Sundays. We walked around town and luckily stumbled upon Rodney's. We walked by it, but once we figured out we actually need to drive somewhere, we checked it out. Rodney suggested we get our food to go as he only has outdoor seating and it was windy... More

Was attending the Willcox Wine Festival. Have read about Rodney's in the past, so we wanted to give it a try. Rodney was out front, very nice man to talk to. Decided my wife and I would try the Creole fish. It was very good. The only thing we thought was odd was two sides of beans. Green beans (probably... More

Rodney was sitting outside reading a book when we pulled up for lunch. A very unpretentious place, actually a shack only that is the kitchen and counter. The menu is listed outside and I assume it changes as needed. We ordered Creole Fish, Hamburger and Fries, and a Philly Steak Sandwich. All given a good rating. The Creole was authentic... More

This place was found on a drive through of Willcox when our favorite BBQ place was closed. It was a nice day so we decided to eat outside and it looked interesting...... The place doesn't look like much but the food is well prepared and made to order. He has been there a long time and is often the only... More

Rodney is a charmer and his food is simple, but good as advertised. He is a great representative of both Creole and Southern Arizona hospitality. From Gumbo to the humble hot dog (hot dog and fries for under $4), it's well worth the stop.

Stopped in after going to the chiricauas, they were very reasonably priced, but cash only, and he was very nice. There was plenty of seating in the back and just the southern smell coming from the kitchen was enough to pull us off the street. We will definitely be back.

Rodney's is located in the perfect location for a quick bite to eat while taking in the wines of Wilcox, in the middle of the block between the Flying Leap Vineyards Tasting Room and Keeling Schaefer Tasting Room. The food is good, but not great. But, Rodney makes it all taste a little bit better by providing great hospitality and... More

Dont be fooled by the small shack, Rodbey the Chef and owner serves a flare of southern cucine that will have you coming back. Rodney is the embodyment of southern hospitality. If you are passing by or stopping in the town of Wilcox dont leave or pass by without visiting Rodneys.
