We enjoyed a nice lunch at Badwater Saloon. The food was good, the service was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The atmosphere is very comfortable and fun with timbers believed to be from an old mine and old time movie posters of movies with Death Valley settings. We had the turkey burger and Mac and cheese. Both were very good. We... More

All we wanted was a beer. We sat at a table and had the 3 or 4 waitresses walk by us over and over and over again. One finally said she'd be right with us, but she wasn't. Finally I went to the bar to order from the bartender. He said I had to go back to my table and... More

My boyfriend and I went to this place because it was the only restaurant in stovepipe wells (not to mention the only restaurant in a 30 mile radius). When we walked in, we stood by the door for about 5 minutes, unsure of whether to seat ourselves or wait for a hostess. Neither of the 2 waiters acknowledged us at... More

We had been driven all day through death valley and stopped just to grab something quick. We went in, very coosey and friendly atmosphere! The server was very kind and humoristic. The food was even better! Can strongly recomend their sandwiches!

We spent one night at Stovepipe Wells and had dinner at the saloon. This place was like an oasis in the desert. Impressed with many different beers on tap. The bartender was new, but friendly and we enjoyed his conversation. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Certainly not gourmet, but it was good. We had the... More

What a treat! We stopped here on the way through Death Valley and were so happy we did. Stovepipe Wells looks just like a western movie set. The lone general store sitting in the dust on the other side of the road is just so cool! When you walk into the saloon you see wooden furniture, an old style bar,... More

Everything is high in California and this was no exception. The food and service was pretty good and we were staying at Death Valley Lodging so it was handy.

great Western Pub atmosphere with very friendly, cheerful service. Had dinner and drinks here one night. Food was good. I was surprised at the fresh vegetables and salads available in a remote hot place. Compliments to chef and management.
