Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The oldest book store in the world, 276 years of selling books is pretty amazing. A must stop and see. So much to enjoy in the area. Will worth a trip to this historic area especially at Christmas time.

You're bound to find something that catches your eye in the variety of books, Christmas ornaments and hoodies and sweatshirts here. It is a feast for the eyes and the staff is more than helpful and friendly. A pleasure.

While serving as the official book store for Moravian College, the MBS is also a great place to shop for some unique gifts and/or stop in the cafe for a bite to eat and drink. for

The Moravian Book Store is still a delightful place to stop and browse for a while but it has changed. In overhearing conversations, I am not the only one who feels that way. While it's a fine place to shop for Christmas items and books...etc, the place has the feel more of a college bookstore which it now is. Lots of Moravian College items. Gone is the candy section and the coffee bar. Still a fun stop when one is in Bethlehem. I answered "no" to many of the following questions because they related to a restaurant and this is not a restaurant so do not be misled by the answers given. As I call, there is no food served here anymore.More

This was an old fashion book store with lots of gifts as well. Didn't spent a lot of time here. It was crowded and I was not in the market for books or gifts. People around me seemed genuinely please with it and their purchases.

Oldest running bookstore that has a brewery and a deli. They both offer good selections. The bookstore has a nice section of books, decor and apparel. Go check it out, definitely worth it.

Great selection of books, also offer gifts and lots of Christmas decoration items. Big place, but the staff could be friendly. I asked a couple question about the history of the place and the gal sounded a little put off. A smile would have helped

Maybe it will get batter once the renovations are complete, but the book selection was not what it used to be and there was no little cafe any longer. Staff are still very friendly. But Barne's and Noble manages now. It shows.

We enjoyed browsing thru the Bookstore. Employees were very helpful. Only thing I wished they did have was a Christmas Ornament with Bethlehem on it for my Vacation Tree.

We have been to the cafe at the Moravian Book Store several times. Everything I have had has been very good. There is a small seating area with a few tables. The bookstore itself is fun to walk around and see all the things they...have. A speciality food section, the usual cards and gifts but always interesting and different things. I, personally, think things are overpriced but that's me. The bookstore at the other end of the shop is the oldest book store in the country.More

We love bookstores. This one was great. It was more of a gigantic gift shop with a book store nestled inside of it. We bought a loot of Christmas gifts. Lots of unique and interesting items. The bookstore was not huge, but well stocked and...books representative of each section were very nicely displayed. Many current NYT bestsellers were readily available.More
