The waitress was rude. I went with my wife, we ordered several items one which was sesame bagel, we got a cinnamon bagel, which I accepted and ordered another and made sure to say sesame loud and clear, the second one came as cinnamon bagel. The waitress was rude when we sent it back. The bagel was awful, the iced... More

It is a sweet place, with good coffee and bagles, all kinds of pastry and I think they had salads as well. you may sit outside and enjoy the view or inside (and enjoy the view-glass walls). Drink your coffee and read a newspaper or just relax your feet from site-seeing. I recommend it!

I visited twice in the last couple of days and on each occasion the staff were helpful polite and served us swiftly. On the second day it rained heavily and there was no problem hanging out until the rain eased thirty minutes later. The earlier reviewers seem to think this is a free facility rather than a business. I think... More

I sat down and got on my computer as I had to get some e-mails out and after 10 minutes I was asked if I needed anything and the staff asked " you are going to buy something, right?" very rude with an attitude. I am a native philadelphian and was embarrsed after my visit to this place. Will not... More

We arrived before closing and were advised that the coffee shop would be closing soon. My charge was just under $5 so I was not allowed to use my credit card. The bathroom was locked. I had no sooner sat down to table than we were asked to leave as they were closing.

Decent spot to stop by if you need a quick little break from sightseeing and walking around Philly (which is what we needed). Not crowded at all on a weekend afternoon and my husband enjoyed his Vanilla Sundae (for all you non-knowers...Jimmies are sprinkles here).

Great place for morning coffee with good selection of eats. Very near the Franklin Inst. and pleasant location to sit outside and snack on coffee and croissants.

Hot Coffee this time. I went with a medium dark roast. The other patrons are really friendly. You can get in and out quickly and there is outdoor seating if you like.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning, not wanting to eat in hotel and finding not much else to choose from nearby. The coffee was decent (just had regular hot brewed coffee), however the breakfast sandwiches and cake my husband had left much to be desired. Staff and atmosphere pleasant, food not great.

This is the kind of cafe that other cafes aspire to be like. From breakfast to lunch, coffee to tea - and everything in between, Capriccio at Cafe Cret just gets it. They know what guests want, how they want it and how much they want to pay for it. Menu items change each season, which is incredibly rare amongst... More
