This restaurant is average in decor, ambiance and food. It is a good place to get a meal but it's just not exceptional. The tables in front, nearest to the bar, are dark. The service was good and timely, the servers were friendly and helpful....More

I needed a local during a fortnight stay in Philly for a couple of beers. Moriarty's delivered. Excellent selection of beers and decent pub grub. I particularly enjoyed the Yards Pale Ale and fish and chips. Most nights it was busy, but with a short...More

Really great atmosphere and always a crowd. But definitely worth the wait. Close to theater for after a show or anytime. Wings are incredible. Food delicious!

A friend and I stopped in before the NFC Title Game. We weren't entirely sure how we'd be welcomed since Philly has a reputation for not going easy on fans of the opposing team, but the staff was fantastic! They couldn't have been nicer and,...More

This place is a typical Irish pub, with a limited menu of mostly fried menu items such as fish and chips, burgers and fries, etc. A couple healthier items on the menu but overall very heavy, greasy food. The bathrooms are very inconvenient as you...More

GTG, While I hope you dined with US, your review makes it sound like you may have us confused with The Irish Pub (which is almost across the street from us). We have bathrooms on all 3 floors; The Irish Pub has their bathrooms in...More

We've been to Moriarty's many times. This visit all 4 of us ordered the open faced reuben. They were deliicious but 1 sandwich was significantly smaller. We were disappointed in the pub's solution (wait at least 15 min. for new one)...since the rest of us...More

Met some friends for dinner and drinks. The beer list is great and the food very good. The wings are non-traditional; they are the entire wing! I ordered 10, and effectively got 20. Very tasty, great service, and great atmosphere. It's a great place to...More

The atmosphere and helpfulness of the staff were great. The pub has a ton of cool decorations. But...I was not impressed with my Fish and Chips. It just seemed a little over priced for the food we received.

Prices are reasonable for what you would expect for a bar/pub type of eatery. It's middle of the road as far as cost goes. $10-$12 for a cheesteak.
