Arrived at the restaurant on a busy Friday eve, but the staff found us a table right away. It was a bit chilly at our table, but hey, the outside temp was probably 20F. We had tix to a local theater event so server Krista went out of her way to take our orders quickly and deliver the food. At... More

Came here in late October to see a show in the upstairs venue. Arrived plenty early, so my buddy and I decided to gab a bite downstairs before the show. It was a very warm night for October, so the restaurant was open to the street, which is a great asset to the ambience. Menu is pretty small, but covers... More

Nice place. Food was tasty. We had the hangover burger, fried pancakes, French toast, and beer donuts. All was very good. Fried pancakes were yummy as were the beer donuts. The service was slow but the server was very nice. It felt like they had only 1 cook. I would go again.

This spot has become a favorite when visiting Philly. We haven't had a bad meal yet. There is also a great beer and cocktail menu. In the evening they have live bands perform, but we have never stayed for that.

Went to Milkboy on Oct 7 to see my hometown fav band - The trews (from Canada). Went to the ground floor bar for some before concert drinks and food. Good selection of draught and cans. Barmaid that night was very nice, took care of me. Ordered the Wings. The wings were very "blah", no real flavour, no breading. Didnt... More

Stopped into Milkboy for lunch after a nice bike ride around Kelly Drive. Sunday crowd was laid back and our waitress Krista offered plenty of good recommendations for both food and drink. Draught IPA was very good. Placed a food order and the order came out quick with great presentation, you can tell that the entire staff cares about your... More

Stopped in for happy hour with a friend, mostly because I knew they served the "citywide special." Not my favorite citywide---they serve a Staub lager (you might as well drink mineral water:)) Afterwards, I inquired about two other beers that looked great, and they were out of both (it was 5:30 pm). The cocktails are good, but not worth $11-$15.... More

Dined al fresco at this place on a Saturday night. Typical bar food menu witth a few surprises, like the korean steak sandwich, and an interesting drink menu. The place is also a concert venue. Good vibe, good service, good food.
