There is a lot to do in and around Independence National Historic Park! If you're looking to make a day of the activities then I'm not sure you could find a better lunch break around there than Squareburger. While a bit pricey, located just northwest of the National Constitution Center in Franklin Square, the food was good, kid-friendly with enough... More

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat while touring Philadelphia's historic downtown. The food itself is ok and prices are not bad, but the service was terrible. I was completely ignored while the people working spent time on their cell phone texting even after I paid for my order. I get that this is a stand in the... More

Squareburger reminds me of a shake/ burger place near where I grew up. It isn't quite fast food, and the fries are delicious... Root beer float felt short of expectations and the only reason the veggie burger was ok was because of the toppings- onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Otherwise, it looked more like a sloppy joe sort of "meat"... More

What a fun and reasonable little lunch spot with great burgers and shakes. Staff was friendly, setting was beautiful. Website not correct on closing hours, so go and check for yourself.

When your walking around Philadelphia be sure to walk on over to 7th and Race and grab yourself a SquareBurger. You will be sure to enjoy a good, fast and inexpensive meal. A trip to Philadelphia just isn't complete for me without a SquareBurger in Franklin Square!

OK so, there was nothing out of the ordinary about the food or service, but both were good. I felt I had to try a Philly Dog, and it was great. Service was very pleasant and, while not exceptionally fast, they get the food out without much of a wait. The best part is the atmosphere - clean, quiet seating... More

We grabbed lunch here since we heard good things and we were in the park anyway. Food was really fresh and delicious - especially loved my root beer float! The prices weren't crazy either. We really enjoyed our meal here. There are plenty of tables around, I just wish there were more of them in the shade.

The milkshakes at Squareburger are so good! My granddaughters, 8 and 10, shared one which was plenty. We also liked the fact that the hamburgers are not huge making it possible for the children to eat without a lot of waste. Sitting in lovely Franklin Square eating a Squareburger and sipping on a delicious milkshake was a lot of fun!

Whenever I see a vegetarian burger and organic lemonade at a food stand in a public park I am thrilled. And, the prices were reasonable to boot. This food stand was clean, the employees were friendly and the service was fast. And, the vanilla custard was pretty darn good.
