I stopped at the location on Bustleton today, as I heard that...for whatever reason...they make a better steak here than their location off Comly. About 30 years ago a small group of us from Brooklyn, NY started out to Philly for the Army/Navy Game. The day started at Pat's/Gino's where we had our first Philly experience; pretty good. A few years later the word in Brooklyn took us to Jim's, had schrooms; pretty good as well. After a few years we migrated to D'alessandro's... More

If Sienfeld's soup Nazi episode gives you hives, do not go here. You can't handle it. The food is phenomenal. The personalities that work there are true Philadelphia, born and raised. The restaurant is no frills, but that doesn't matter because you're going there for the food. I asked for hot peppers on my hoagie and was told that it... More

This was the second stop on my quest to find the best cheesesteak in Philly. I loved this place! Although the other guys in my group thought it was good they didn't list it as high. In my opinion it depends on what you're looking for. The cheese fries were solid as they were at every place we checked out.... More

Not bad all. Be aware that it's cash only, but If you love cheesesteaks this Is the spot. I got a philly cheesesteak with everything and hot fries, boy did I enjoy that. When I go back to philly this Is my go to spot.
