We could see on entering the Market that it was very busy since it was lunch time etc The problem in the market is a shortage of seats. After scrambling to find suitable seating we then queued for the food. We tried the famous " Cheese steak " which was tasty and the meal overall was satisfying. The overcrowding spoilt... More

We were very happy to discover this place was conveniently close to our hotel. This meant we could easily sample some of the vast range of foods at breakfast, lunch & dinner. There is of course Philly Cheesesteaks on offer but don't limit yourself to just those.

This place is a world unto its own, and if you visited every day of the year you'd always find something different, and delicious, to eat. And the people who venture through here, and who work here, are almost uniformly worth observing.

Go in hungry and be prepared fora Huge crowd. I have been many times and never seen... More

A voluptuous cornucopia of food, culture, arts and craft snuggled in the shadow of Philadelphia's city hall and the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This former rail hub now bustles daily with natives and tourists alike, endulginging farm fresh poultry, freshly cooked meals; hand crafted art, hand picked produce; a young dance troop celebrating the Chinese New Year, a quartet of old...
