Quite large and very crowded on weekends with students, they have lots of TVs for showing sports. There is a restaurant in back and a very nice lunch and dinner meun and seating is mostly in comfortable booths

Had lunch with a friend. Our waitress Mary was very nice and attentive. Good pub selections at a great price. The food comes out fast and is fresh. A great Philadelphia institution

Lovely relaxed welcome and good wine on offer - this was a welcome refuge on a long walking exploration of this great city.

I tried The Irish Pub randomly for dinner on St Patrick's Day. I'm glad I did! The place was packed; however, you wouldn't know it by the service they gave me. Went for dinner on a date night during late summer. The menu does not include very many Irish dishes. When I inquired I was told that the summer menu is different from the winter menu. Don't the Irish eat during the summer? I understand not offering stew or shepherds pie in July and August but there has to be more... More

My wife and I stopped in for a pint and passed on the food only because we had reservations elsewhere. gets bad rap as tourist trap but really an ok place. The Irish have never been known for haute cuisine. Remember the potato famine? So, you get ok down home food. The food was delicious and very well priced! We did have a little confusion over what "breadsticks" meant (Keebler crackers by the way), and fried scallops that weren't expected (but were delicious).
