My son & I stopped by coming from NYC. I've been to 3 other cheesesteak spots prior to coming here. I didn't think I'd like it but, it was very good & better than Pat's which was my favorite before. I love that the steak meat was thinly sliced and the sandwhich melts in your mouth. There's not alot of... More

I could only eat half the sandwich it was so big. It had to be about 2-lbs of meat in there. When I crave a chicken broccoli rabe or a chicken cheesesteak this is my go to place.

service was fast, order was correct, sandwiches were great - maybe a little dry. It's a bit out of the way, there's not great parking and not great seating but still a great place to check out.

While Tony Luke's isn't the best cheesesteak around, it's definitely better than Geno's or Pat's. The meat isn't dry, and the flavor is just better overall. The only thing is - it's definitely further from most of the touristy attractions you'll likely be hanging around. Also, if you're unlucky, you might get a cheesesteak with very little meat. My boyfriend... More

Maybe our expectations were too high. Wife and three kids all had cheesesteaks, one son was impressed, the others were not. My chicken cheesesteak was blah and the cheese was watery so the bread was soggy too. Wait wasn't long and staff was VERY friendly.....dozens of locals on line too, maybe we went on a bad day.

Why would people wait in line for 1/2 hour... the food has to be great. Throw in some history and you have a classic. Well do not skip this one. Go hungry

Brought here by my friend who is a local. The line was long(ish) but that added to our expectations, hunger, and excitement. I ordered a (tradiional?) pizza steak - for about $10. It was pretty big - and i didn't need to eat the whole thing (I would ahve been full) but i did! My friend's got sweet potato waffle... More

Based on a few locals recommendations we passed on Pat's and Geno's to hit up a more local spot. Tony Luke's was just the place! We ordered the cheesesteak hoagie with onions and cheese wiz. Super good! Splitting one between two people is probably a good move. I nearly had to be carted out of the place after finishing one... More

Very disappointed ordered a cheese steak was dry no seasoning with very little onions the bread was old and tough to chew. In the past they used Sarcone's crispier bread best bread in Philly. I had a chicken cutlet supreme it was better tasting will give 1 star but the bacon was over cooked and dry like it's been sitting... More

Well was leaning to a poor review but the sandwich was great! The location and the staff was fair at best. Cleanliness was good. Since when do you have to pat 4 bucks more for a thimble of peppers and mushrooms for a philly? Not good BIZ
