I believe the founders were Penn students who built a chain based on take out volume and indeed it's good. I just wish they'd vary the menu.

Very charming little place with good food. Wait staff very cordial and attentive. BYOB also something I enjoy, as does my family.

Food variety and flavors are very good. Portions, average. Wish they had a dinner buffet mid-week. Service good, but spotty. Ala carte pricing can add-up.

We walked into Tiffin with a Living Social deal, not knowing what to expect. This place does a solid take out business, but we were the only diners in the place on a Friday night. The food is really good and portions are pretty large. Server was very friendly and we'd go back for sure.

Food is expensive and the service can take a long time. I normally call in--love the curried lamb. Wish they had a substitution for rice.

I dream about this dish. Heat, sweet and savory. No flavor overpowers the others. I haven't dined in but if there service is half as good as their food, I highly recommend this place. Great food with awesome favor. Try their Mango Lassi too; great stuff.

As I live very near this location, I prefer to eat in the privacy of my own home to avoid the embarrassment having people watch me inhale copious amounts of this delicious food. I like that you can chose your own spice level so I can find something for my kids as well. For takeout, they have their own website,... More

I didn't order from this location. I ordered delivery from the South Philadelphia location which was close the Double Tree Hotel, close enough that the naan and roti I ordered were still crunchy. First time any place delivered it that fresh without wilting. I had lamb vindaloo, aloo papri chaat, and a mango lassi. The mango lassi was still quite... More

Been going there for years. They tend to make everything mild so I always ask them to chop a few fresh chilis in mine to bring the heat level up and they always do it. I recommend that people who love the burn of a spicy garam masala to request them to increase the spice level and they will always... More
