quiet bakery with american and some germanic/swiss pastries and cakes. friendly staff. a little off the square. not particularly ethnic.
I understand that they are one of the few bakeries in Center City. But they dont really offer a great variety and their prices are quite high
I've heard so much about this place so I figured the baked goods would be out of this world. Definitely tasty, but no better or worse than any other bakery that I've visited. I'd go back, but it isn't anything special.
Pastries here are good, not great though. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The cheese danish was my favorite item sampled
The hazelnut cake and the thin mints here are amazing! I'd also recommend the seven layer cake. The staff here is extremely friendly and very helpful.
Red and white twine in a white bakery box, tissue and classic pastries...like almond croissants ..old school Inside but everyone that saw my boxes said it was the best in town.. I also really like termini bakery in reading terminal . Try the oatmeal cranberry scone..frosted-wow
