We always stop here for icecream. They have outdoor seating, and there is a parking lot behind it at the school thats free. U do have to buy something to use the restroom and even then u have to ask them for a key and its outside the shop around the corner. But that is standard for Tourist stops.

Perfect place to stop for a sweet treat. Service is good and the food is delicious. Outside seating is great for letting the kids stretch and they even have an old timey hook and ring toss game (I'm not certain of it's official name).

If you've haven't yet visited Mr. G's in Gettysburg, you are in for a treat. There's simply nothing like. Mike and his staff make all the ice cream on site and serve it up with a smile every time. The ice cream flavors available change frequently. So if you're in Gettysburg for a few days, check often and look for... More

Mr. G's has been a favorite of our family for years. There aren't many ice cream places that make their own anymore but this is one, and we love it! They have a nice assortment of hard ice creams, as well as soft serve, and a great local root beer as well! They have a great little patio where they... More

Best hand dipped ice cream in town. Many flavors to choose from. Great patio out front to enjoy taking in the sites of town.

Mr. G's has excellent and friendly service along with the best ice cream in town. My husband and I stopped here one evening before heading home from our wonderful vacation. The salted caramel ice cream was to die for. we will definitely be returning customers every time we are in town which is very often.

This was a quick stop after eating at Tommy's Pizza. Their menu is limited to hand dipped homemade ice cream for the winter. Ice cream was delicious and priced reasonable. $2.90 for a generous single scoop. Gift shop next door is also very nice.

We were excited to see that Mr. G's ice cream was still open while visiting Gettysburg over the Thanksgiving holiday. The ice cream is always excellent and the taste cannot be beat. Most ice cream shops are already closed for the season, so it was great that we were able to stop in and get a tasty treat.
