Mr. G's has been a favorite of our family for years. There aren't many ice cream places that make their own anymore but this is one, and we love it! They have a nice assortment of hard ice creams, as well as soft serve, and a great local root beer as well! They have a great little patio where they... More

Best hand dipped ice cream in town. Many flavors to choose from. Great patio out front to enjoy taking in the sites of town.

Mr. G's has excellent and friendly service along with the best ice cream in town. My husband and I stopped here one evening before heading home from our wonderful vacation. The salted caramel ice cream was to die for. we will definitely be returning customers every time we are in town which is very often.

This was a quick stop after eating at Tommy's Pizza. Their menu is limited to hand dipped homemade ice cream for the winter. Ice cream was delicious and priced reasonable. $2.90 for a generous single scoop. Gift shop next door is also very nice.

We were excited to see that Mr. G's ice cream was still open while visiting Gettysburg over the Thanksgiving holiday. The ice cream is always excellent and the taste cannot be beat. Most ice cream shops are already closed for the season, so it was great that we were able to stop in and get a tasty treat.

We were more than pleasantly surprised by this place. We had heard it was good and the line was long. But we found out that was because the ice cream was that good. It was the first time I've ever had Root Beer Ice cream and I really enjoyed it. I'd definitely come here again!

If you are looking for and after supper snack or just a light lunch how can you go wrong with hand dipped ice cream? I recommend the Salted Carmel in a waffle cone.

Ice cream is not typically my favorite treat, but Mr. G's Ice Cream really is very good. It is very creamy without being too heavy and they have a nice selection of ice cream desserts.
