We didn't expect much but were very happy and excited about the quality and quantity of the food!!! We shared chicken vegetable soup, which was fantastic, with lots of chicken, very flavorful! Highly recommend. We shared salad with romaine lettuce, sliced apples, dried cranberries & candied pecans with the balsamic dressing - fresh, delicious and large - certainly big enough... More

It is an Order at the counter, pick-up at counter, not many tables, but thhe food was good. We waited about 5 minnutes for our order to be ready, not bad considering the crowd - it was a busy time of the year.

We stopped at Uncle Sam's Canteen on the campus of the FDR Library and Museum and FDR home. I estimated that there would be casual seating for about 50 people, perhaps 1/2 of it outdoor seating. When we ordered, we were given a pager, and when we got our sandwiches we saw why. I had the veggie wrap, and my... More

I wish I could give negative stars. $9 sandwiches were pre made and the bread was hard. Chips were stale. Best part of the meal were pickles from a jar.

Located in the FDR Visitor Center, good for a light lunch while visiting the FDR Museum and Library and FDR's home.

We stopped before our tour. We ordered a panini and a salad. Both were made in minutes. The salad was large and fresh. The panini was hot and large with tasty BBQ chips. Perfect lunch.

Found the food to be good for a snack bar. Had a good lunch and there were plenty of options. It was not too expense. We needed to sit down and take a break and this was a good place to do that.....

The sandwiches are amazingly good for a little cafeteria tucked away in the visitor center at the Roosevelt Estate and museum visitor center. Everything was made fresh, it was quite tasty, and the staff were pretty quick getting the order up. You should have no concerns about deciding to stop and have a sandwich here while you are at this... More

We were visiting the Vanderbilt and Roosevelt historic sites. We didn't want to head into town looking for places to eat, and this is right there in the visitor's center. The food was very good, and they had good healthy options too. We took our food outside on the patio, and enjoyed the beautiful day. It was so nice to... More
