Royal Farms is a convenient store with expensive drinks and snacks etc. But the chicken is really quite good for this type of establishment. One might think it would be dry having been sitting out all day and what not. And they would be wrong its quite tasty.

Who would think that a gas station would have some if the best southern fried chicken, anywhere?? Yup, it is the best I have ever had! Just got into town to visit family yesterday and we were starving and my brother took us there to pick up some chicken and it was out of this world!

Checked out the new Royal Farms in Urbana, MD. Gas under $2.30 a gallon and free coffeE for the grand opening. Fried chicken was tasty and ultra modern restrooms. This is not your average gas station!

We are from tarpon springs Florida and every year on our road trip to Pennsylvania Our first stop in Maryland is royal farms. This is the crispiest, juiciest fried chicken I have ever tasted! It is AMAZING.

While the seasonings are different, this reminded me a lot of the way the Colonel's chicken used to be before it became "corporatized". Served hot an crispy with potato wedges similar -but not-identical to the ones from Chesters. .Also, check out the house brand "RO FO" sodas. Portions are generous, but not belt-busting. The ordering system is a bit convoluted...... More

Fried chicken is what it's all about. Chicken and western fries. The chicken is hot , fresh, plump, juicy and tasty. Service varies from location to location but across the city and state I have found excellent personal service besidesnthe Russel St and Downtown locations in Baltimore. Service is top notch on Key Hwy, way out on O'Donnell and mostly... More

This is a big Royal Farm compared to many others. There is a place for inside dining and I get stuff here all the time whenever Hampden is hosting one of its festivals. My kids love getting a order of the fried potatoes as a snack. Just like any other convenience store like this - there is a lot of... More
