Cajun chicken with crab was outstanding and something very creative. Wife had chicken and dumplings and both our chicken dishes were among best chicken we've ever eaten.

The food is very fresh, clean, and creative. The restaurant is very warm and inviting. Prices are reasonable.

Nice enough place, but basic bar type food was way overpriced. Meatball sandwich with fries was $14. Fish sandwich with fries, again $14. Food took a long to arrive. Paid too much for average food and service. Won't be going back.

The atmosphere of this restaurant fits perfectly in the mountains. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the menu contains some really yummy comfort food. Definitely worth a visit!

This may not be for gourmet foodies, but it certainly beats most of the good served at nemacolin nearby. When we stay at Nemacolim we always have a dinner here.. Their burgers are always a safe as are their ribs. Try to stick with the plainer menu items.

The food was really good. If you can't decide on a beer, I'd recommend doing a flight. I had the pot roast it was really good.

We had lunch at the Stone House after seeing Falling Waters. It was a rainy day and the cozy setting along with very tasty comfort food were perfect. Venison Chili is not something you get everywhere , the meat loaf was tasty and there was a lighter seafood meal that wast super tasty too. We found the seasonings just right... More

We stopped while passing through on vacation. This is an old restaurant in a interesting building. The service was slow, but the food was good. My husband had the meatloaf and the serving size was huge. He said it tasted great. I had the Chicken Chopped Salad and it was very good. The loaded baked potato was average.

This restaurant has better seats and ambiance that the food. The waiter was nice, but the food was very poor! We went there because a local recommended it. We made a mistake. I hope this review helps them to improve the food.

This is a restaurant where you should order what you know they will do best, not some fancy dish. I got the 1/2 rack of ribs, coleslaw, and home made fries. Everything was yummy. The service was erratic as there was only one waiter for a lot of tables. My partner's dish was chicken and dumplings which should have been... More
