Top notch food, from appetizers to entrees and excellent ambiance, it has ecclectic decor very charming and well worth a visit and excellent for a wedding or wedding party. Fantabulous preparations and staff made this excellent, I was there as father of the groom. I highly recommend this high class restaurant.

This is a great place for brunch or lunch that for some reason seems to fly under the radar of most. Which honestly is a good thing for the customer because when every other place is crowded with a wait you can usually breeze right in and sit down for a great meal. Not sure why because for brunch or... More

We went to Soho South Cafe for the first time today and the experience was delightful! We went a bit after noon and our waitress was Katelyn. Katelyn was helpful, kind, and funny. She even offered to take a picture for us since it was our anniversary! We had chicken and waffles and bananas foster waffle-- both were delicious. We... More

I was not happy with the amount of food I was served on my last visit but decided to give it another try. I ordered a Greek chicken sandwich which had very little sauce and was dry. I asked for more sauce and was charged 50 cents. The waitress said the kitchen made her charge. That was ridiculous. I will... More

Good place. Nice atmosphere. Good was good and is worth a stop if you are in the area. Don't detour too much out of your way, but a good place.

My fiancé raved about Soho South. We decided to eat there for an early lunch. The weather was nice, so we were able to dine outside. The fried green tomato sandwich was unique and tasty. My fiancé had the Cobb salad, which was very good as well. Try a cocktail while you are there. We will return to Soho South... More

The food was pretty good, but the menu used to be better. They used to have a really good grilled cheese with several different cheeses. Now it's only one and not as tasty. Tomato bisque was very good. They have good meatloaf too. Just wish they had some of the same things that was on the last menu.

Me and my friend got the combo for 10$, a cup of an amazing tomato basil soup, cheese sandwich and a choice of a side, I got the buttermilk biscuits. Absolutely delicious and lots of food. Good place for brunch!

Stopped in for lunch between museum tours and had the most wonderful tomatoe bisque and grilled cheese sandwich. You even get a side with that. My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. He said it was the best gravy he had ever had. Loved the decor.

Description
Soho South Cafe has been made famous by its patrons as one of Savannah's staple weekly lunch and Sunday brunch spots. Opening its doors in 1997, Soho South Cafe is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Savannah, appropriately named after the iconic New York City neighborhood for its proximity to nearby shops and entertainment venues. Built originally as an automotive service station in 1945, the building sat vacant for a number of years before the restaurant's original owners acquired the space and transformed it into a restaurant. Most recently, the restaurant was acquired by Daniel Reed Hospitality and remodeled to make improvements to the existing model which represents the latest adaptation as it stands today. The design of the restaurant incorporates elements of iconic, archetypal New York City. The quirky, eclectic esthetic lends a sense of humor to the monumental, vast interior space which includes the buildings original exposed elements such as the steel windows, iron trusses, and solid wooden garage doors. The overall atmosphere results in a casual dining experience that works perfectly for lunch and private events.
