Best sushi ever I had in the USA! This is the second time and I can confirm that is the best place in that area.

I really love fugakyu for the makimono lunch special. The food is delicious. However, for dinner it's really expensive. They do have a great atmosphere with a mix of private seating areas where the doors shut, and open tables.

Many of the dishes on the menu are never heard off in Japan. This place is not a pure Japanese restaurant. One time when I went there they did not have a Japanese sushi chef (in Japanese ITA-SAN) and scallop wrapped in bacon is laughable!

Fugakyu has a reputation of being the best, but overpriced sushi in town. It turns out neither is true. Despite a rainy mid-week day, the place is pretty busy. I ordered the "nigiri combo". This comes with miso soup -- which was delivered first (unusually for a Japanese place) and without a bowl cover. The miso was perfunctory but potable.... More

It's good, but is it worth the price? I don't think so. The shrimp shumai is very good, but not incredible. The sushi is very good, but not incredible and not the best in the area. The soups are great, but again, everything is super overpriced. Nothing will be bad, everything will be good, but you'll pay a small fortune... More

There was nothing particularly wrong with this restaurant, so the three rating indicates that is perfectly good. The price point was a little high and the food did little to differentiate itself from cheaper options in there area. The dining space is nice and quiet and service was very good.

We did not have a reservation, but we were able to get a table straight away, it was a Sunday night after all. We started with the Foie Gras Lettuce Wraps and the Short Ribs Hibachi, both were amazing! The Short Ribs were a bit pricey ($25 for an appetizer portion). My husband had the Sushi 3 Kind, which was... More

A little pricey but good. About $37 each for a meal and single cocktail. Neat place to dine. Would recommend for someone in the area.
