I've been a regular here for several years and this place never fails to disappoint. Great service, food, and atmosphere for a reasonable price. I recommend it highly to any and all. The owner really seems to love what he does and each time I order I can sense the care and attention put into each customer and each order.... More

Every time I come back to Brookline, I have a craving for Baja Betty's burrito bowl. Though the burritos/bowls may be a bit overpriced, it is worth every last cent because of how the owner prepares his food with experience, love, care and most of all, PASSION for Mexican food. He grew up with friends who had parents who taught... More

Baja Betty's helped us survive a kitchen renovation several years ago, so I was delighted to bring my daughter on a trip down memory lane. She LOVED Baja Betty's because she felt like she could customize her own burrito. She studious avoids all things spicy and had no problem navigating the offerings (black beans, roasted corn and seasoned taco beef... More

Sure you can always find a burritos place nearby, but this one's stands above the rest. The owner/chef seems to genuinely love what he's doing and makes each custom with a little love. Just like your Mom used to make your meals. Burritos makers are oftentimes curt and look disgruntled, not this guy, he's happy for your business and proud... More

The burritos were delicious and well-worth the money. I spent a week in Boston eating a lot of great food, but because of the price/taste ratio Baja Betty's is the only place I ate at twice.

I've been going to this place on a regular basis for about six months. I have never been disappointed. The selection of fillings is great, the portions quite filling, and you can't beat the prices. Keep in mind this is Brookline Village. The staff are very friendly and the place seems to have a regular customer base as I see... More

It's fast, it's good, it's wholesome, it's inexpensive, and the owner is a great guy to talk with when he's not busy serving customers. Standard fare -- such as tacos and burritos -- freshly prepared using excellent fresh ingredients. I've been coming to this place for years -- and often stop in for a snack in between meals -- the... This is a quaint little storefront joint that serves burritos. The food portions are generous, but bland. With a little effort the place could be improved, though. I think the place relies on locals who already know the drill. The chalkboard menu is charming, but for a new customer, a mystery. The paper plates and plastic utensils aren't inspiring. But... Not only is Baja's Betty's a fun and cute little restaurant to spend time in, but each item has choices such as whole wheat or white burrito wrap, sour cream or yogurt etc. There are plenty of fresh veggies and an array of hot sauces, cilantro and chopped onions that you can add yourself. This is a sweet place -... More
