This long time Fairbanks establishment is a great place for a meal, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is always good and the serving sizes are large and at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and attentive. Be sure to save room for one of the baked goods that are for sale by the cash register.

Friendly staff and the desserts aren't to be missed. I have two words for you...The Savannah. A custardy angel food with a berry purée that is outta this world!

We had a wonderful breakfast yesterday. I wanted to change my omelet ingredients and it worked out very well. The omelet was just what I wanted! My friend had a Denver Burrito, and she said it was very good as well. The burrito had eggs and ham and onions and green peppers all rolled up in a tortilla. The service... More

We visit Fairbanks about once a year and make a visit to the Cookie Jar as a mandatory stop. The menu has plenty of variety and some items have a twist that is seldom seen elsewhere. The food and service is always great and the prices very reasonable. The restaurant is always clean and inviting.

Clean, friendly atmosphere with a great menu. Many souvenirs to purchase including cookie jars of many shapes and sizes. Giant cinnamon rolls and other baked goods to take home with you.

We were looking for a place to have a late breakfast, 2 PM breakfast. The Cookie Jar was just the place. Quick service. Breakfast served all day. Food was just like Grandamas home cooked meals from our youth. We had our 5 year old grand son along and they were quick to get him food to keep him happy.

We just stopped by to get a sweet treat. A slice a pie and a cup of coffee while we were visiting Fairbanks. You have to drive through a car dealership auto lot so don't back out just because you think your gps is wrong. My life time favorite coconut cream pie was a delicacy. They have a full menu... More

Elizabeth at the Wedgewood Hotel said to eat at the Cookie Jar. Glad she told us. My companions had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and loved it. I had the Denver omelet. Very good. Large portions. None of us could finish everything. Service was excellent. Waitress Lou was friendly and was happy to have us visit Fairbanks and her restaurant.... More
