Berlyn was one of my favorite spots to eat before a performance at BAM. I planned to go there this evening and was surprised and sad to see that Berlyn is no more. It was really a prefect spot. Wonder why it closed... There are...More

Always try to go here before I go to an event at BAM. Can get crowded on those nights so get here as close to 5:30 as you can. The schnitzel is sooo good.

Stopped in after a show across the street from B.A.M. warm soft but crunchy pretzel with a sweet mustard, great pretzel, but not a fan of sweet mustard. Duck pate , very large portion with smoked goose breast was very nice . The mini crispy...More

First rate place for dinner before an event at Bam, which is across the street. Lovely German food and a top-notch beer list.

Normally I'm not fond of German food. This is an exception. Meal was fabulous. Had duck breast. It was perfectly done. Fondue was excellent. Had an attentive waitress. Would definitely go back.

Fun place to go at the holidays or any time of year. The ambiance is perfect--idealized Old World mood with whimsical touches. If you're looking for traditional German fare, this wouldn't be it. More like a modern, lighter take on middle European cuisine.
