My husband and I are always on the look out for restaurants with great food and a great atmosphere. He found this GEM. When we entered we had a party of 5 and an infant they said the wait would be between 45 minutes to an hour. In about 7 minutes our table was ready. Appetizers: fried oysters, short beef... More

My husband and I went there after a concert at the Kings theater. The concert ended late so I was hoping it was still open. To my surprise it was open and there was a short wait to be seated no biggie. You must get the Mac and Cheese!! The Chicken and Red Velvet Waffles were on point! My husband... More

After we ordered I got a text so I know it was 8:09 exactly. Now keep in mind I ordered two appetizers and... More

The staff here rock! Christine was my waitress. She was super attentive and very helpful. I follow SoCo on Instagram and my meal, Blackened Salmon, was so delicious! I highly recommend this Brooklyn gem! I just wish I had taken pictures before I wolfed down my meal!

I could honestly live off the mac and cheese alone. Best ever! I also tried the wings and it was absolutely amazing. Very rustic vibe and very good twist on southern food, it ain't your momma cooking. Because it's better!

Had multiple people recommend this as the place to brunch in Brooklyn. Went on Sunday, great drinks, cornbread and french toast! All were delicious!

My son suggested this place for my family birthday dinner. The evening started a little rocky because I ordered a Brandy Alexander (straight up) and when it arrived it had ice. I reminded the waiter that the drink should not have ice and sent it back. When the drink came back I could see ice still floating in the drink.... More

Tip: Be sure to make a reservation for weekend dining. It becomes crowded at times, but you can always walk in. Now on to the food! Sorry I couldn't wait... You must, must, musssst order the Lobster tail, with Shrimp and Grits. Yummmmmy. I was never a fan of grits but at Soco it just goes great in this dish.... More

Champagne mimosa special, chicken and waffles, mac and cheese, eggs Benedict and lobster with grits were the meals at our table and each one was perfect!!! Bartender was a doll and the waitress was excellent! Food was served hot and perfectly seasoned. Delish! Would go back even though it is not in my neighborhood.
