Came across this place by chance on a Friday night and ended up having a lovely dinner all around (charming quaint decorations and wonderful staff). The place was a bit short-staffed for a Friday evening and one of the waitresses had a language barrier when we placed our order, but regardless, everything went through well and they were helpful/attentive. We... More

Less than $60 for 4 people for generous portions of fresh Uzbek food can't be beat. We hadn't tried Uzbek cuisine before, so this was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the sigar feta rolls, 2 salads, herring with potato (salty and the only disappointment), manty (lamb dumplings), khamir (meat/rice dumplings), and fried lagman (noodles with beef). Everything was tasty and... More

What a delightful restaurant. The food was spectacular - some of the best I've had in a very long time. Everything we had was superb: the Varaka and Kutarbi for appetizers (our samsa seemed like it might have been frozen and thus not entirely hot when served) were great, but the mains we ordered were absolutely out of this world.... This place is excellent. The menu isn't super-extensive (like for example what is on offer at Nargis), but there's enough here to more than satisfy your craving for uzbek; the menu seems to have a slight uyghur influence, and it also offers items that you can't find everywhere (like kutabi -- which by the way are the best you'll have... This is a wonderful friendly family run Uzbek restaurant. The cook who owns the place came out and gave us recommendations on what to order. It was our first Uzbek meal so I don't know how typical the dishes were but everything was very tasty and carefully prepared. I recommend it for a cuisine that few have tried. I would... More

Four of us enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch here. My favorite dishes were the lamb kebabs, plov (pilaf), samsas, and chuchvara in lagman sauce. Everything we ordered was good, but those stood out, for me. We arrived just as they opened for the day, and they couldn't have been more hospitable. The owner gave good recommendations and even brought us... More

This was our second time back from out of state. They just opened in October and we stumbled on it by accident looking for the previous restaurant and decided to give it a try. Service is great, family staff friendly, and food authentic Uzbekian. My husband had the Chuchvara in Lagman sauce which was delicious. We tried their pumpkin appetizer... More
