We love having breakfast there. Very kids friendly. Their waffles and pancakes are very tasty. I recommend to come in early on the weekend as it can get very crowded.

What a cute little diner. The waitress is such a nice lady. She made me feel like I was visiting her house calling me "honey" and making sure my coffee cup was always full. We need to support places lie this so they stay in business forever! Love seeing regulars walk in and the person behind the counter say out... More

Nice atmosphere for an informal breakfast with family and friends. Service is superb, it feels just like being home at your grandma :-) The California omelettes was divine ! Super recommended...

It's an old fashioned Counter Place with a few extra tables. It's true to it's name: Coffee Shop. However, it has a lunch/dinner menu, not just coffee & breakfast. The food is usually very good for Breakfast and still good for lunch, dinner & take-out. This is a GOOD place - - - usually clean, almost always keeping an "A"... More

We eat here for lunch at least once a week and sometimes more. They have great soups some basic and two that are different on every day. We frequently go on Mondays which is Yankee bean soup day and it is one of our favorites. It's hard to find a place in this neighborhood that just makes good, fresh diner... More

The family run diner is a disappearing institution; but luckily, there are few places like Cobble Hill Coffee Shop still around that offer good comfort food at reasonable prices. The service is quick, efficient, and very friendly. The day I visited, I had the Greek Omelet, which was delicious. I definitely will come again.

In passing on Court Street, this place never stood out as the "I want to make sure we try that soon" kinda place, but after moving to the neighborhood my wife started meeting friends there. She kept telling me to check it out and finally I did. There's one thing that NYC lacks IMHO, and its good diners. This is... More

We stopped in and asked for pastries and coffe. The owner said I just have donuts, go down to the pastry shop a couple of doors down and come back. I said HUN?????? Yeah sure come back! Well I did and brought back some pastries for all of us to share with some coffee and great stories. What a place,... More

This is a typical diner. The food is okay, nothing great, prices are about what you'd expect, staff is nice but a little slow.

This isn't really a coffee shop but rather one of those good, old-fashioned, neighbourhood diners of the kind which is fast becoming an endangered species. Particularly in increasingly gentrified Brooklyn. Everyone who goes there seems to be a regular though they're happy to share the place with you. If you like value for money, a friendly atmosphere and no frills,... More
