After more than two years of visiting Almondine every second day, not only does it feel and smell like Paris; the collection of baked goods, breads, sandwiches, soups, specialty seasonal items and coffee is better than France. Easily the best bakery in New York City - all boroughs. The world class owner pastry chef, Herve is without a doubt a... More

Great stop after walking across Brooklyn Bridge. Had chai latte and almond croissant-both were delicious. Sandwiches and other pastries looked just as fresh and delicious.

We stopped here after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan, after reading about it in a travel magazine. Per the article's recommendation, we had a croissant, and it was possibly one of the best pastries we've eaten anywhere.

We stopped here after walking across the bridge. We enjoyed the french macaroons and a creme brulee. Lovely little spot. It seems that bakeries are a NY past time!

This cozy, little cafe/bakery has it all: delicious patisserie, a very friendly and accommodating atmosphere, and GREAT coffee. The sweet and charming Thai server literally runs around the place with a big smile to keep everyone happy. She was my personal lifesaver when I forgot my iPhone in the place, and she charged it up to make sure she could... More

Vi walked across the Brooklyn bridge and wanted a bit to eat. Found this lovely french cafe down by the river. They had good coffee and lovely pai and cakes.

Good spot for a hot lunch. Vegetarian soup was much appreciated on a cold day. Cakes looked good but I didn't actually have one.

A real taste of being in a French cafe in Brookly of all places. Although it is in the popular Dumbo area, it was quiet enough when we visited to be called a hidden gem.

This quaint bakery is near Dumbo. We had some delicious pastries after walking around the waterfront. It is a nice place to stop and refuel.
