The food was so good, we are returning next week and hate that we are unable to eat here again. Best steak I have had in a while.

This was a very good place to eat. It was, however, burned down in the recent fires that burned a lot of area around Gatlinburg.

I wouldn't want to eat a whole steak that way,but I had the filet and you could cut it with a fork. The potato soup was excellent. We didn't order one, but the table next to us had the wedge salad and it was humongous, it looked like a meal in itself. The service was excellent. All in all, a... More

This Alamo Steakhouse was consumed by the November fire, but a sign promises it will return this summer. Gatlinburg is alive, well and welcoming, but some hotels, condos, businesses such as the Alamo and the pizza place across the street are gone. Gatlinburg publicizes its work to "Heal and Rebuild." We ate here on a past visit and found it... More

It costs a fortune to eat at this place. You can get better food at Golden Corral a lot less expensive with a lot more varieties. This place looks nasty. The table was greasy feeling. I will not be a repeat.

I was expecting more. I didn't like the ranch dressing. My steak wasn't worth the price. It was freezing in the restaurant.

I know I'm a little late submitting this review, but life can get hectic at times! I was extremely sad when this location was lost in the November 2016 fires, but they are rebuilding and I'm so happy about that! Great food, cooked perfectly. It's a little pricey, but it well worth it! Looking forward to visiting when they get... More

The steaks are primo and sides are fresh. A bit pricey and felt rather closed in with the seating. The wait staff was ok but it took a while to get good and was not busy.

I'd certainly rate Alamo the 2nd best steakhouse in Galinburg. Have had both the Prime Rib and Ribe Eye steak and both were very good, you certainly can't go wrong and they know how to cook their steaks. The bar experience while we were waiting was really busy and it took a while to get a drink. The bar tender... More

Description
Unfortunately our Alamo Steakhouse location in Gatlinburg was lost in the wildfires in the area on Monday November 28th.

We had celebrated 18 wonderful years in the building, and we are heartbroken at the loss.
We are committed to rebuilding our beloved restaurant in the same location in 2017. The timeline is uncertain, but we will keep you posted.
